The request for credible, efficient and low-cost wastewater treatment systems is increasing around the world, especially in densely populated areas. In these regions, appropriate wastewater treatment systems often do not exist and irregular or uncontrolled discharge of wastewater threatens health and pollutes local water resources.

Now days many governmental authorities have passed new environmental regulations assuring that dischargers of wastewater, such as small and medium projects and residential areas, will be responsible for wastewater pollution. Therefore these entities should treat wastewater sufficiently on-site before it is released into the environment.


Target

For many small and medium projects and populated estates, conventional wastewater treatment systems are very technically complicated and costly, These conventional systems often demand high energy consumption for operation and depend on high cost and extensive maintenance services to ensure continuous operation.

For these potential customers, Alraed Co. started in 1999 to develop credible and cost-efficient wastewater treatment systems (compact units) which competently treat non-toxic organic wastewater according to environmental standards (laws 48/82 & 4/94) with a relatively new technology which called enhanced-advanced oxidation process (E-AOP) . This resulted in the sustainable operations of more than 400 compact units are applied in different sites (residential compounds, villages, overseas ships, river cruise and petroleum platforms...etc).

E-Aop technology

The increasing interest in water reuse & more stringent regulations regarding water pollution are currently accelerating the implementation of AOP's at full scale. (E-AOP) can reduce the concentration of contaminants from several hundreds ppm to less than 5 ppb (part per billion), so it can bring COD & TOC (total organic carbon) down which earned it the credit of water treatment process of the 21st. century (E-AOP) treatment is special for cleaning non-degradable & biological toxic materials such as VOC's, pesticides & aromatics in wastewater. They're a set of chemical treatment processes created to remove mainly organic & sometimes inorganic pollutant, in wastewater by oxidation through reactions with OH radicals , such a process called in-situ chemical oxidation
